How Hushload works

Hushload validates a public link, asks the source for available formats, and saves the authorized file directly to your computer.

1. Validate the public link

Only complete HTTP or HTTPS links on the supported-domain list are accepted. Localized subdomains are allowed, while lookalike domains, embedded credentials, and custom ports are rejected before analysis.

2. Analyze without saving media

Hushload requests public metadata from the source and displays available qualities, duration, and format information while concealing titles and previews by default.

3. Prepare the download

Your selected quality, file type, output folder, and concurrency are handled as separate validated options. Links and filenames are never executed as commands.

4. Save and finish locally

Partial data is written into your chosen folder, then Hushload assembles the selected video or audio file locally. Progress, speed, and ETA stay inside the app.

5. Recover cleanly

Interrupted partial files can continue. Active jobs are retained locally for recovery; completed metadata is discarded unless local history was enabled.
